"Change is good" a wise man once told me. Koalishun's Swift must have heard the same advice. After working and rhyming with KD LMR and his groups Southern Lowlifes and Lost Cause, Swift decided to branch out on his own. "Metamorphosis" is a great departure from Swift's former sound. His lyrics sans the profanity, but still entertains without it (notice the "fake" parental advisory sticker). Some of the production is very dark despite the positive messages, which at first makes it sound odd. However it's tracks like "Not a Day", "Which Way" and "For Life" that make the album enjoyable. But don't let the God-praising lyrics catch you off guard, for Swift still serves wack rappers on "Lyrics" and "Nobody Touch The Mic" which features his wife Tasha Medlock on the chorus.
