"The Coming" is the first compilation on Def For Life Records. Originally a Dirty South album, "The Coming" features artists and producers from all coasts and foriegn countries. This album not only served listeners, it also promoted every artist presented here. NOTE: EVERY ARTIST ON THIS ALBUM NETWORKED THROUGH THE INTERNET. In fact, Daneja Mentale contacted everybody through a contest on SoundClick.com to "audition" for the album. Now before you jump the gun... "Listen Closely Vol. 1 & 2" ARE the LAST albums! This is a collection of outtakes and bonus tracks from the "Vol. 1: Rhymes & Beats", "Vol. 2: The Art of Expression" sessions. Also added are tracks from the "Dark Waters" and "Home Is Where The Hate Is" sessions. The Recluse..." is an E.P. that is to be released before the arrival of "Vol. 2". Along with "Vol. 1", this collection will finally end the series with a bang. It has been said by Daneja, that he will not record any more albums. There are many reasons in the air, but many of his peers say it's just rumors. Though he said that will continue to record and do guest apperences... we will see in the near future. Will he stand by his word or will he follow the footsteps of Scarface, Jay-Z, and Too $hort and make a comeback? We shall see.
