It was in 2001 when I first heard of NME Wreckidz and came across a few raw joints. I was so hooked that I downloaded about 4 CDs worth of music (by the way I still have them lol). In the mix of the songs I played, there were two that I bumped constantly. They were "Social Butterfly" (can't remember the artist, sorry) and "Money" by no other than Lu Chin Chen. And just like a stalking [not really] fan, I tried to find EVERYTHING this dude made lol. In other words, I had become a BIG fan. A couple of years later after moving out on my own, MySpace was the big deal of social media networking. This is when I came across the official page of my now, homie, producer Mr. Dilligence (aka Dillz... That's what I call him). Fast-foward to 2011, after bugging Dillz for years of Lu's whereabouts, he finally linked me up with him and we instantly clicked and collaborated on my previous album "Redemption: Home Is Where The Hate Is Pt. 2". This dude is more than just an emcee, he's a great brother in rhyme.
Thank God for MP3.com, for without searching for free music to download (during the Napster glory days), Soul Mafia Enterprises would have never come across one of the illest emcees and one of the rawest producers in the game. Welcome to the family, Lu!
