"Peaceful Solitude" explains Kaiji's journey of finding peace, and is ultimately about healing from past situations. Life, and circumstances will sometimes allow you to experience hardships alone, though painful it is necessary for growth. Kaiji chose to deal with her pain by writing songs and sharing her experiences with the world. Things do get better eventually, so keep pushing!
There are so many great gems on this album and one those gems is the undeniable, smooth "Living On A Cloud" featuring Dion. "Black & Free" takes a step back into a much needed Black pride atmosphere in Hip Hop. In case you missed or haven't copped the "Homage" EP (a collaboration with label-mate J. Brown), "Identity" will give you a prime example of what you're missing. "Love Love" is one of the joints that journeys into the subject of relationship issues; along with another Dion feature "Friend Zone". This is one very solid release from Kaiji along with production handled by Daneja Mentale, Don Bo, Rashid Hadee, DekaDerse, Alexis Carrington, Studio Steve Wallace, Ki of NC, and Katrah-Quey. If you love that laid-back, feel-good sound, yo don't pass this up!
