SME AFFILIATE SPOTLIGHT: DR+

DR+ aka DRPlus2 aka Dr. T aka Silas Gravybread
If you could mix the elements of George Clinton, Rza, Dr. Dre, DJ Premier, The Prodigy, and J Dilla... This would be the outcome. Dr+, to some known as Dr. T, Silas Gravybread or DrPlus2. Coming from Kansas City, Dr+ has produced or remixed tracks for various artists in the game (Kaiji In Stereo, Savant of RAREBREED, Anti-Crew, Flying Lotus, Daneja Mentale). His range of production is so diverse that it's impossible to place it in a certain category. At 15 Dr+ released "Meat & Cheese", a compilation containing some of the hottest underground emcees around the nation. It also showcased some great instrumental pieces that blend well in the track listing. Other albums in his discography includes: "A Left Consciousness", "...pilgrimage", "24OURS", "Between Natural Dust and Digital Eden", "Hands Like James'", "OOH LA LA" and "The Happy Box Game".
