LOST CAUSE is a Hip Hop supergroup consisting of members: Swift, L.A.C., J-Dainja, and Murk. Originally formed as Southern Lowlifes in the late 90's, LOST CAUSE has recorded a great amount of tracks. 25 of these songs are compiled here on this album, "The Collection - Vol.1. The members work great together displaying a tag-team delivery here. They also perform well on solo tracks. Tracks such as: "Catch a Case", "Verbal Assassins", "Spit Fire" and the raunchy "Shake Somethin" are hot. However the real heat comes from the true story-based "Space Invaders" a tune about a child molester. Another notable is Swift's solo track "The Outer Limits". This track is just a hint of Swift's departure from secular, into christian rap. Also J-Dainja's "Murder I Wrote" displays a vivid picture about a drug deal, gone bad. Throughout 25 tracks, "The Collection - Vol. 1" is well worth the listen.
